Bridgeport 52, Grafton 49

Connor Kornbrath led four players in double figures with 12 points as Bridgeport rallied past Grafton by a 52-49 score on Friday. Tyler Sprouse and John Koon each scored 11 points for the Indians, while Ryann Sprouse added 10. Grafton led 32-24 at the half, but BHS used an 18-5 run in the third quarter to take the lead into the fourth. The Bearcats tied the game at 47 with just over 2 minutes to play on a Zach Gower steal and layup, but the Indians made free throws down the stretch to seal the win. GHS was led by Chris Runner's 19 points. Lucas Marshall added 13. Bridgeport improved to 12-5 and travel to Parkersburg South on Tuesday. Grafton fell to 7-7 and travel to Liberty on Wednesday.
